Once the SCAMPI Appraisal is completed by our SEI CMMI Authorized Lead Appraiser, the SEI publishes the Appraisal results on the PARS page. To find out more, see the Published Appraisal Results page. You can also view the Maturity Profiles, which demonstrate the use of SEI models and appraisal methods.
The intended goal and purpose of the CMMI Model and the SCAMPIsm family of appraisal methods is for process improvement. The outcome, which is entirely dependent on the organization implementing it, is a measurable increase in the quality of the products developed with a better ability to predict the time and budget needed to perform the development. The goal is to increase the organization’s ability to reliably develop products and services in a repeatable fashion with continual improvement.
